Why home service companies call us

Get found for the work you want more of.

The total can look fine while one service or one area does most of the work. The reasons are usually on this list.

  • Two of your own pages are competing for the same job in the same city.
  • The profile does not cover the areas you serve.
  • One tracking number covers every service, so nothing can be told apart.
  • The newest service area is buried inside the total.
  • The busy season arrives and the campaign is still catching up.
  • A customer who came for one job never found out what else you do.

Most people do not keep a number for the next job. They search again, and the company they find has a second chance at the work.
What we run

How we market your business

Local SEO, paid ads, web design and development, and reporting, all focused on bringing in more jobs for every service you offer. Where confirmations and reminders are still sent by hand, we add AI automation and integrations.

WHERE YOUR CREWS WORK
A job outside the territory costs a crew the drive both ways. Your service area ends where the drive stops being worth it.
Your working radius

Local search for your trades.

We manage your Google Business Profile and local visibility across the areas you serve, with a steady flow of recent reviews. Add an eligible location and it gets its own profile and its own line in the report. The AI answers get the same check: when someone asks who to call for the work you do, in the cities you serve, we check whether your company is named.

WHEN SOMETHING BREAKS
It broke, they search and call whoever answers
They find you Someone picks up The crew is booked
Few people shop around when it has already stopped working. Being found and picking up wins the job.
Something stopped working

Ads for the jobs you want.

A repair and a full replacement are different buyers, with different urgency and different click costs, so each gets its own campaign and budget. Offer more than one service and each one gets the same treatment.

PLANNING A HOME PROJECT

Larger home projects

A site for whole-home projects.

A website you own, built so somebody looking for one service finds it, sees what else you do, and can get hold of you without hunting for the number. We build it through our website design and development service. 97% of consumers read reviews for local businesses (BrightLocal, Local Consumer Review Survey, February 11, 2026), so the site has to hold up next to what people find when they check you out.

Reported monthly

Reporting split the way you run the business.

Calls and forms by service and by location, so you can see which jobs and which areas are producing.

The path

What to expect, step by step

The timeline depends on the site and the market. The order stays the same.

  1. Step 1: First, we find out which parts of the business are visible.

One service or one area usually carries the site's visibility and the others live off it, and it goes unnoticed because the total looks fine.

  2. Step 2: Then we fix the structure before adding to it.

The most common fault we inherit is pages and campaigns competing with each other: two pages targeting the same job in the same city, a profile that does not cover the service area, and one tracking number covering everything so no split is possible.

  3. Step 3: Then we build out, in the order you choose.

Which service and which area first is a commercial decision, and it is yours. We will tell you what each is worth before you make it.

  4. Step 4: Then we report and adjust, split the way you run it.

Each month the results go next to the starting point, split by service and by area, with what moved and what changes next.

What home services marketing costs

What you pay comes down to five things, starting with how many services you offer and how many locations you cover. We look at your business first, and you get the price in writing before you sign anything. For the search part of that quote, our guide explains what moves the cost of SEO.

  • Locations. Each eligible location adds its own profile, its own coverage, its own reviews and its own line in the report, which is the main reason two companies of the same revenue can be quoted differently.
  • Number of services. Each service has its own searches, its own ads and its own busy season. Some of the work is shared, and each service still needs its own plan.
  • How much competition each area has. Adding a city where few companies compete costs less than adding a crowded one. We'll tell you which it is before you add it.
  • The state of the site. Building on a site costs less than replacing one.
  • Whether you run Google Ads. Google bills you directly for the ad spend, and we never mark it up. Our management fee is quoted separately, so you see the two numbers apart.

Can they break last month down by call, by form and by service?

Traffic numbers say the marketing is gaining ground. The report should list every call and form, which service it was for, where it came from, and how many were for the work you are trying to grow.

Who owns the accounts

Do you own everything, for every location?

Every domain, site, ad account and profile should be in your name. If access goes away when the agreement ends, the history goes with it. With us, the domain, site, ad accounts, Google Business Profile and tracking are in your name from day one, for every location, and they stay there.

Ad spend with Google Agency monthly fee

Is the ad spend shown separately from the fee?

You should see what funded the ads and what paid for the management. One blended number hides where the money went.

This month's work

Is the work list written down for each service and area?

You should see a clear list of what is being done, and for which services and areas. If it is not written down, you cannot tell what you are paying for.

Flagged this month

Will they show you the service or area that is lagging?

Good reporting says which service or area came in short, what we learned, and what changes next month. A report that only lists the wins is leaving something out.

What you need depends on how busy your crews are.

If your phone already rings more than your crews can handle, the work is holding position and building the areas you want next. If the phone is quiet, the five questions above are how to judge who should fix that.

An honest comparison

Three ways home service companies get marketed, side by side.

Home service companies usually choose between a lead-selling service, a marketing company that runs the whole thing, or word of mouth and whatever the season brings. All three work for somebody. They differ in what you own at the end.

What to compareJAWC Buying leads Word of mouth only
Where the work comes from People searching for your services, in the areas you serve A lead the platform may also sell to other contractors People you already served
Who the customer thinks they called You. They found your name The platform. Your name is incidental You, and that is its strength
What you keep The site, the pages and the accounts stay yours It stops that day, with nothing left over Nothing changes, which is the point
Your other services Built into the site on purpose One service at a time, whichever you bought Only if they thought to ask
Growing on purpose Add a service area, add the profile, add the pages Spend more, get more of the same Hard to speed up when you need to
What you can see Which service in which city generated business What you were charged Very little, honestly

Referrals are the work you already earned. They just do not follow you into a new territory.

Home services search costs

What a Google Ads click costs for plumbing, electrical, HVAC and roofing jobs

Two searches in the same trade can cost very different amounts per click.

We put each trade name next to one of its jobs.

Search termMonthly U.S. searchesAverage cost per click
plumber673,000$34
drain cleaning110,000$14
electrician368,000$18
electrical panel upgrade9,900$17
hvac contractor135,000$16
ac repair368,000$46
roofer49,500$23
roof repair74,000$41

Source: Google Ads keyword data, United States, via DataForSEO, October 2, 2026. National market averages, rounded to the dollar.

We check what a click costs for each job you want more of, before any of your budget goes to it.

Some job searches cost less per click than the trade name, and some cost more.

A click on “plumber” averages about $34, and a click on “drain cleaning” about $14. HVAC and roofing go the other way: “ac repair” costs more than “hvac contractor,” and “roof repair” costs more than “roofer.” In electrical, “electrician” and “electrical panel upgrade” cost about the same. So we plan your ads one job at a time.

Home service marketing

Explore the trades we work with.

Why home services companies hire us

Your business gets the same people from us throughout. The ones you meet on the first call run the account and write the report.

  • Every call and form shows where it came from.

The tracking is in place before the first campaign, so a call from one area or one service never gets counted against another.

  • One report a month, in plain numbers.

Calls, forms, what each channel cost, what changed, and what is next, split by service and by area when you run more than one.

  • Everything is in your name.

Domain, site, ad accounts, Google profile and tracking are in your name from day one, and they stay there.

Questions home services companies ask

If your question is not here, ask us on the phone.

A close up of the outside corner of a house where a weathered brick and stone veneer column meets rough sawn horizontal lap siding, low raking sunlight picking out the mortar joints and the grain of the boards

Yes. A single-service business gets the same work: found for the jobs you want, in the areas you serve, with every call and form reported. Companies that offer several services or run several locations get the same, with each one built out and reported on its own.

It depends on the services you want built out, how much competition is in your area, and how much of the current site can be kept. Marketing more services or locations adds to the work. We will tell you what your market costs before you commit to anything.

Paid search can start producing calls within days of going live. Earned visibility builds over time, and how long depends on how much competition is in your area and what presence you already have. We baseline at the start so you can see the movement.

Not necessarily. We can often improve the website you already have. If a rebuild makes more sense, we will explain why before you decide.

Cover the places people actually look when something needs doing: your Google Business Profile, a page on your site for each service in each area you cover, and paid search for the urgent jobs. Track every call and form back to the service and the area it came from, so next month's budget follows the jobs you want. If you sell more than one service, treat each one as its own set of searches, with its own page.

By owning the places the leads come from. That means a profile that covers every area you serve, a page for each service that answers what a customer asks before calling, and reviews that keep coming in, even between busy periods. Bought leads stop the day you stop paying, and the platform keeps the relationship. Pages and profiles in your name keep producing, and the customer knows they called you.

Nothing locks you in for a set number of months. If something needs to change or stop, we just need 30 days' notice.

We check our current client list against your area before quoting. If somebody we already work with sells the same services where you do, we tell you up front, before you sign anything.
