HVAC
Marketing Agency

Bring in new HVAC customers and keep them coming back.

JAWC is a marketing agency that works with HVAC companies across the United States. We manage local SEO, Google Ads and websites built around the work you want more of: repairs, replacements and maintenance plans.

Each month you see what came in by job type, so you can tell whether this season's repairs are turning into next year's customers.

In-house since 2011 U.S. team Clients coast to coast 5.0 on Google
Why HVAC companies call us

You fixed the unit, and then you never heard from them again.

We help you stay visible to past customers, so your company is the one they call when they need service again.

  • You come up for repair and you do not come up for maintenance.
  • The plan exists in the business and nowhere on the website.
  • The heating campaign got built during the first cold week.
  • Repairs, replacements and plan signups share one line in the report.
  • The cheapest clicks of the year go by while nothing is running.
  • The site says nothing about the plan on the page the repair customer lands on.

What we run

How we market your HVAC business

Local SEO, paid ads, websites, customer outreach and reporting, all focused on more HVAC jobs and customers who come back.

HOW FAR YOUR TECHS DRIVE
A service call an hour out is an afternoon you priced as a morning. So we stop the area where the drive gets too long.
Your technicians' range

Local search, by service area.

We improve your Google Business Profile and website so customers across your service area can find you for heating, cooling and year-round maintenance. AI answers are part of it: when someone in your city asks who to call for heating, cooling or maintenance, we check whether your company is the answer.

WHEN THE SYSTEM QUITS

Few people compare three companies with the air conditioning out in July. Be visible, with someone ready to answer.
No heat, no cooling

Paid ads that follow demand.

We adjust your HVAC advertising around seasonal demand and the work you want more of, helping you reach customers when they need you and turn more searches into booked jobs.

A website owned by you, built so a homeowner who arrived for a repair can find the maintenance plan without being sold at.

97% of consumers read reviews for local businesses (BrightLocal, Local Consumer Review Survey, February 11, 2026).

Remarketing and customer outreach.

Ads that follow the people who already looked at your site, and email and text to the customers you have served, timed to the season and the plan renewal. It is the most efficient work in the account because you are not paying to be found by somebody who has never heard of you. We can set seasonal and renewal reminders to go out on their own with our AI automation services.

The path

How your HVAC marketing gets started, step by step

The schedule depends on your HVAC website and on how competitive your service area is. We take the steps in the same order every time.

  1. Step 1: First, what you are currently visible for, by job type.

Many HVAC accounts we look at are visible for repair and invisible for maintenance, because repair is what gets optimized for and maintenance gets left alone.

  2. Step 2: Then fix what is broken.

Usually a Google Business Profile that is unverified or incomplete, a site with one page trying to cover cooling, heating and installation at once, and a maintenance plan that exists in the business but is nowhere on the website.

  3. Step 3: Then build, ahead of the season you want it for.

Campaigns can be switched on in a week. The pages, the Business Profile work and the content behind them take months to gain ground, so those go in well before the season they are meant to carry.

  4. Monthly

Step 4: Then report and adjust.

Each month we compare results against the baseline taken at the start, explain what moved, and decide what changes before the next season.

What your HVAC marketing budget depends on

Before we quote anything, we look at five things, including your service area, your website and how much of your work comes from maintenance plans. Then you get the price in writing, and the decision is yours.

  • Coverage area. How many cities, and how much competition each has.
  • Residential, commercial, or both. A homeowner with no cooling and a facilities manager with a rooftop unit search differently, decide differently and take different amounts of time.
  • The state of the site. If we can keep your current HVAC site, the work costs less.
  • Whether you run Google Ads. HVAC is one of the more expensive trades to advertise in, and click prices move with the weather. Google charges you for the clicks directly and we take no markup on them. You'll see our fee quoted separately.
  • How seasonal your revenue is. A company with a lot of maintenance plan customers spreads its budget across the year differently from one that depends on repair calls as they come in.

Will they show you every call and form from last month, and where each one came from?

Traffic and rankings say the marketing is working. A real report says what it brought in: every call and form, where each one came from, and which job types they were.

Who owns the accounts

Do you own everything, or are you renting it?

The domain, the website, the ad accounts and the tracking should all be yours from day one. If access disappears when the relationship ends, you were paying rent on your own marketing.

Ad spend with Google Agency monthly fee

Is the ad budget separate from the management fee?

A report that shows one total tells you nothing. Ad spend on one line and the agency fee on another lets you judge each on its own.

This month's work

Do you get the month's work list in writing?

You should have a list of what is being done and when. That is how you know you got what you paid for, and how you catch a plan change before the busy season hits.

Flagged this month

Will they be straight with you when a month is slow?

A useful report explains the slow month as clearly as the busy one: what fell short, what we learned, and what changes next month, before the next season.

Plan your HVAC marketing around the work you want.

Your marketing plan should account for the weather, your crew’s availability, and the jobs you want to book. When summer repairs fill the schedule, keep your local SEO moving and promote maintenance agreements that bring customers back. Before milder weather arrives, plan tune-up reminders, follow up on replacement estimates, and reconnect with past customers.

If you have an in-house marketer, identify where specialist support would help with search visibility, Google Ads, website improvements, or tracking. Use the five questions above to evaluate how an agency would support your team and your business goals.

Know exactly what your proposal includes.

Ask for a proposal that separates advertising spend from agency fees, lists the work included each month, and confirms your ownership of the website, domain, advertising accounts, and tracking numbers. It should also explain how campaigns will adjust as demand and technician availability change.

Agree on how results will be measured. Reports should connect marketing activity to qualified inquiries, booked service calls, and replacement opportunities, and explain what the agency plans to improve next.

Track what happens after an HVAC customer calls or fills in a form.

An honest comparison

Three ways HVAC companies get marketed, side by side.

HVAC companies usually choose between a lead-selling service, a marketing company that runs the whole thing, or word of mouth and whatever the season brings. All three work for somebody.

What to compareJAWC Buying leads Word of mouth only
Where the work comes from People searching for a repair, and people looking for a plan A lead the platform may also sell to other contractors People you already served
Who the customer thinks they called You. They found your name The platform. Your name is incidental You, and that is its strength
What you keep The site, the pages and the accounts stay yours It stops that day, with nothing left over Nothing changes, which is the point
The maintenance plans Marketed the way the repairs are Rarely what the list produces They come from customers you kept
Growing on purpose Add a city, add the pages, add the coverage Spend more, get more of the same Hard to speed up when you need to
What you can see Repairs, replacements and plan signups, apart What you were charged Very little, honestly

Word of mouth beats the other two. It is just not something you can turn up in the shoulder months.

More home service industries

We market other home service trades besides HVAC.

Why HVAC companies hire us

We have been in business since 2011, the founder still runs the place, and every account is handled in-house by our U.S. team. You talk to the people doing the work, from the first call to the monthly report.

  • Your first call is with the person who will run your HVAC marketing.

The person who planned your HVAC marketing is the person running it, and the one who picks up when you call. Nothing gets handed off to an account manager.

  • Built by our own team, in the U.S.

Our own team plans the marketing, runs the campaigns, builds the pages and writes the reports. We do all of it in our own office, for every client on every plan.

  • When your techs are booked, we tell you to spend less.

If your techs are booked through the season, we say so and hold the budget. The goal is work your team can take.

Questions HVAC companies ask

If we skipped your HVAC question, call and we will answer it.

A refrigerant manifold gauge set with blue and red gauges and brass body, hooked over a steel beam with its charging hoses hanging down, in front of a weathered wall

It scales with coverage area, competition and how much you want built out. We will tell you what your cities cost before you commit to anything.

Well before summer starts. Paid campaigns can be switched on quickly, but the pages, the Business Profile work and the content that support them take months to gain ground, so we start those well before the season they are meant to carry.

The head terms are contested and expensive. Searches naming the unit, the fault or the job usually convert better and often cost less per click. Urgent ones like emergency repair can still be expensive, so we budget by what each search is worth. Maintenance is a smaller share of search, and the plan is mostly won on the site and after the first visit.

Start with the searches that happen when something has failed: your Google Business Profile, service pages for the specific jobs and units you work on, and Google Ads or Local Services Ads for repair terms. Track every call and form back to its source so you can see which city and which job type produced the work, then put the next month's budget where the work came from.

Yes, on both sides. The plan is marketed alongside the repair work for people searching now, and to the customers you have already served, through remarketing and through email and text timed to the season and the renewal.

You do. The domain, the website and its content, the ad account, the Google Business Profile and the call tracking are all set up in your company's name, and they stay yours.

No. Google charges you directly for the ads, and we add nothing on top. The management fee is quoted separately, so you always see both numbers.
